Description
The Jarrowhurst Alabaster Wall Sconce borrows its line from a shepherd's crook. A single brass rod rises from a rectangular backplate. bends over in a tight hook. and drops a shade from the tip; below the plate. the same rod continues down to a solid brass ball. the way a walking cane ends in a weighted knob. The shade is a bell of Spanish alabaster. carved thin and held by a knurled thumbscrew. and when the bulb is on the stone turns cloud-white with rust-colored veins running through it. like light through a thin slice of onyx.
