Description
The Maventon Pendant Lamp comes from the painted fabric lampshades of a 1930s parlor. A drum of cream fabric is sewn into upright panels. each panel carrying a single floral spray. and the top and bottom edges are cut into scallops and trimmed with a row of small pearls. the way a vintage boudoir shade was finished by hand. A turned knob of ash wood sits above the shade and a matching finial hangs below it. with a twisted cord and a fluted brass-tone canopy overhead. Lit from within by five bulbs. the panels glow evenly and the flowers show through like a lit painting. which is why this painted floral fabric drum pendant light with pearl trim was designed for a dining room. bedroom. or entryway in vintage. grandmillennial. and French country homes.
