Both versions share the same alabaster column (30 cm tall) and overall height (47 cm). The difference is the backplate: 1 Head uses a slim 10 cm / 3.9″ disc — understated. ideal in pairs or in tight spaces. 2 Heads uses a 24.5 cm / 9.6″ disc — more presence. better as a solo statement above a console or nightstand.
Will the alabaster veining vary between units?
Yes. Every alabaster column is cut from natural stone. so veining patterns. translucency. and tonal warmth will differ between units. This natural variation is part of the material's character. not a defect.
Can I mount it horizontally?
The Neuma is designed for vertical mounting — the alabaster column sits above the brass arm. supported by the disc detail. Horizontal installation is not recommended. as it disrupts the intended proportions of the design.
